Civics Exam

In 2015, the Arizona legislature passed the American Civics Act which requires students, beginning with the graduating class of 2017, to pass a civics test based on the United States Immigration and Naturalization civics questions.

Students are required to score 70% or higher in order to graduate from high school or obtain a high school equivalency certificate.  Chandler Unified School District tests students in 11th grade through U.S. History classes.

Juniors will take the Civics test on November 5th or 6th in their US History class. 12th grade students that are new to ACP High School and still need to pass the exam will also take it in November.
